Bratislava Trams - Route 1 - Driver’s Eye View.

Day 1 of the RTC (Railway Touring Company) 2018 “Summer in Slovakia” Tour. Having arrived in Bratislava earlier in the day we had some free time before boarding our specially chartered boat for an evening dinner cruise on the Danube River. The sound of trams running right past our hotel was just too much to resist. Route 1 runs from the Central station, through the old town, across the Danube on the new “Old Bridge” to the current end of the line at Jungmannova. In this video we board a 1,000 mm (3 ft 3 3⁄8 in) gauge Škoda 30 T tram at Jungmannova for a run along route 1 to Bratislava’s central station. Filmed 28th June 2018.
