Uniting international artists under a common vision, Nicola has long been a pillar of the contemporary, international jazz scene. Featuring musicians and artists from all over the world, Nicola Conte’s Umoja project is a truly global one. Inspired in part by the early nineties jazz dance club scene he found in London in the early nineties - and helped champion in his native Italy, Nicola Conte’s Umoja is a high-intensity, spiritual club jazz masterclass. In the unifying spirit of Umoja, Nicola invited Korean jazz dance specialist, choreographer and filmmaker Yejin Ladytoe to create a new video for the title track of the album.
