Bertrand Russell is up there with Socrates as one of my most favorite thinkers of all time. He was a prolific philosopher, mathematician and British humanist whose influence reached into dozens of scientific fields. I have been a lifelong admirer of his works; his “History of Western Philosophy“ is to this day an enjoyable and insightful read. He was a very precise thinker and one the most renown logicians of the 20th century. There are many more adulatory things I could say about him, but I’ll just leave it at this: you can learn a great deal from this man.
