Tango Notturno - Elena Lauri (1937)

While waiting for a new 78RPM stylus and cartridge for my turntable, I decided to search through my tapes which I haven’t played in many years... I found this version of the famous “Tango Notturno“, recorded by Danish singer Elena Lauri (1907-1961)who recorded in Germany in the second half of the 1930’s. She is best remembered for the song “Träumen von der Südsee“. Slideshow of Pola Negri.
