FLYING OVER SKY / rain falls see from the sky

FLYING OVER & watch the rain falling from the Singapore sky be closer to the drops of water as they start to fall with a piece of sweet Asian music in the background. The legend tells the story of the founding of the kingdom of Singapura in 1299 by Sang Nila Utama, a prince of Palembang (island of Sumatra) this saga which saw the prince and his men disembark on the island of Temasek (“Sea Town“ in old Javanese) after their ship had suffered a violent storm. To keep the ship from sinking, the men had to throw everything overboard, including the heavy prince’s crown, which had the effect of stopping the storm. After landing on Temasek island, Sang Nila Utama saw a strange animal he had never seen before. His advisers explained to him that it may have been a lion (other sources say it was more of a Malaysian tiger or a mythical creature). Considering that this animal was auspicious, he decided to rename this island “Singapura“, meaning “Lion City“ in Sanskrit.
