Peniche, Portugal (2021)

After visiting beautiful Nazare we continued our way towards Lisbon to Peniche. In about 50 minutes we arrived at our surf guest house. The guest house is owned by a very experienced surfer and above all a very friendly host. Of course we went surfing with him and booked a private lesson. The weather and conditions were perfect. After catching several waves we went back; tired but satisfied. In the evening we went out for dinner in the historic center. In Peniche you eat freshly caught fish. The next morning we went to explore the Baleal Islands. This beach, about 3 km north of Peniche, is one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal. With my drone I tried to capture the beauty from above. Just awesome! Later that day we explored the historic center and went for a swim on the south side of Peniche, at Supertubos beach.
