‘Hoarders’ Yard Gets a Big Cleanup

In early March, a yard in southern California’s San Fernando Valley had neighbors complaining. It was strewn with garbage and was allegedly attracting unwanted visitors in the form of vermin and curiosity-seekers. Now, that yard is looking a lot better as crews hauled most of the junk into dumpsters. Neighbors told KCBS that six large bins were filled to the brim with refuse. Neighbor Sylvia Meldonian said, “Finally our prayers have been answered.”
