Steve Davislim - “Durch die Wälder, durch die Auen“ DER FREISCHÜTZ (Weber) 2009

The Malaysian-born Australian tenor, Steve Davislim, has enjoyed an impressive international career in opera and concert. He has appeared at the State Opera Berlin, State Opera Vienna, Hamburg Opera, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, at La Scala, at the Chatelet Paris, Lyric Opera Chicago, the Metropolitan Opera New York ,the Semperoper Dresden, Liceu Barcelona, the Montpellier Festival, Baden Baden, Geneva Opera, and with the Balthasar-Neumann-Ensemble on tour in Germany, Hungary and Spain. His roles with Opera Australia have included Don Ottavio, Lensky and David. He is seen here as Max in Weber’s opera DER FREISCHÜTZ in a televised performance from Baden Baden on January 6th 2009.
