Lantern shield - First sparring test! Part 1

The lantern shield is now combat ready and was yesterday put through its paces. At this stage we’re just experimenting and seeing what its capable of and how it works in a range of scenarios. Obviously the one thing we are not yet trying is the lantern part! Over the next weeks we’ll be testing this against a range of weapons, multiple opponents and such, as well as experimenting with techniques and styles for its use. Here it is used with a sidesword against a left handed sidesword and dagger use.
