Typhoon Gaemi floods North Korea-China border! Massive flooding in Liaoning!

Typhoon Gaemi has hit China and North Korea, causing heavy rain, flooding and landslides. The Yalu River, which separates the two countries, has exceeded dangerous levels. Severe flooding has been reported in China’s border province of Liaoning and on the North Korean side. This has prompted leader Kim Jong Un to declare a “state of emergency“. An incredibly large amount of rain fell in Zixing, Hunan Province. A total of 624 mm of rain fell in the last 24 hours, breaking the record in Hunan Province.
