Smart Dragon-3 launches eight satellites

A Smart Dragon-3 launch vehicle (捷龙三号遥四, Jielong-3 Y4)successfully launched eight satellites from a sea-based platform off the coast of Haiyang, Shandong Province, China, on 24 September 2024, at 02:31 UTC (10:31 local time). According to official sources, the eight satellites are: Tianyi-41 (天仪41星), Star Age-15 (星时代-15卫星, XingShidai-15), Star Age-21 (星时代-21卫星, XingShidai-21), Star Age-22 (星时代-22卫星, XingShidai-22), Yuxing-2 05 (驭星二号05星), Fudan-1 (复旦一号卫星), Tianyan-15 (天雁15星) and JiTianxing A-01 (吉天星A-01星). Smart Dragon-3 (SD-3, also known as Lightning Dragon No. 3, Jielong-3, 捷龙三号) is a new solid-propellant rocket developed by the China Rocket Co. Ltd.
