Scarf Puppet by Frisch Marionettes

This is a demonstration of the Frisch Marionettes’ Scarf Puppet. The Scarf Puppet is a simple three stringed marionette based on the 4(5) string scarf marionette by Albrecht Roser. The Frisch Marionette Scarf puppet is a modified design making it ideal for children to operate and learn the basic engineering principles employed by all marionettes. The Frisch design allows for some unique movements easily achieved by the beginner! We hope you enjoy the original demo routine developed and performed by Kevin Frisch. We make these to supplement our income and to encourage young people towards puppetry. Thanks for watching! The music is “Did You Ever See a Dream Walking“ sung by Al Bolly with Ray Noble and his Orchestra.
