AND LEARN ABOUT THE FROSTPUNK 2 RADEON RX7700 XT GPU HERE! UK: USA: CANADA: GET YOUR ’THE ARK & THE TINDERBOX’ poster here! The Captain is dead. Thirty years have passed and through storm, snow and starvation somehow the city still stands. The future of that city now rests with you, Steward. Guide this next chapter of the last city on earth, face new challenges and unite a people set on dividing down ever more fractured and fractious lines. In 11 bit’s Frostpunk 2, the sequel to their best selling city survival game, it’s up to you to guide the next generations of frost-landers through an uncertain and turbulent future. Build districts, manage resources, keep people fed and warm and navigate a political climate in your city as turbulent as the storms beyond it. Frostpunk truly is one of my favourite games of the past few years and I was thrilled when 11 bit and AMD approached me to revisit the world of New London to help them promote the sequel and AMD’s latest GPU. ‘Shelter From the Storm’, my song for the first game followed the story of those embarking to build the city at the end of the world. My second song and collaboration with Dan Bull ‘A Purpose for New London’ was followed the two factions warring over how that city should be run. So for this third song I wanted to close that arc and explore what might become of that city should it fall. The frostlands are unforgiving and saving your city will not be easy. The idea of returning to that character from Shelter thirty years later was a really exciting one and this whole project was a blast to put together. Whilst not (quite) the biggest set we’ve ever built it is by far the most intensely dressed and detailed and that was before we then had to ice it over and install a snow machine! A huge thank you to the entire cast and crew for bringing this project to life and of course to 11 bit and AMD for making it possible! And extra special thanks to Carl of the Bells for providing the fantastically haunting choirboy vocal and to HalaCG for voicing the Faithkeeper!
