Alex’s Caves: Toxic Caves Preview

A preview of the Toxic Caves, the third cave biome for my unreleased mod for Minecraft, Alex’s Caves. Me and noonyeyz have been hard at work in order to bring these biomes to life, and even though the theme of this one is a bit dark, I think we did an excellent job. As with all biomes added by Alex’s Caves, this biome is very rare and adds a new goal for exploration to the game. The Toxic Caves is a biome loaded with perils. From armor-melting acid to enough radiation to make you glow, exploring this biome is far from a cave-walk. Between dilapidated structures and seas of bubbling acid, one can find five new mobs. Most of these are hostile under some conditions, but the Raycat and Radgill are passive, and the former is even tameable. By defeating monsters such as the Nucleeper and harvesting the plentiful uranium ore in this biome, one can even create their own nuclear weapon, sizeable enough to destroy entire villages.
