SPIRIT 玲 180SX “MIYABI“ | HALCYON (4K)

I first came across Tess’ Spirit Rei 180SX at Tuner Evolution: Orlando this past May. I was completely blown away by how well executed the build was itching to shoot it. With Tess living a few hours away in Georgia, we arranged to get together at SWERV: Daytona in July for a night shoot. Shooting an all black vehicle at night was a bit difficult, but I wanted to play into it and go with a dark, blue grade. We kept our locations to bright light sources as much as possible. Watching the lights reflect off the body is my favorite part about the rolling footage. The track is produced by myself, it’s something I’ve had sitting privately on SoundCloud for almost a year. After the shoot wrapped, I knew it was the perfect vibe for the video, so I got back to work on it and arranged the track to fit the content.
