Polish Gosoku-ryu Karate Championships (keep the hits real and the fight safe)

This are some of the kicks and punches from XV and XVI Polish Gosoku-ryu Karate Championships. Since 2007 we have been fighting in gloves and helmets. Also since that time there wasn’t a single head or face injury. Now it is possible to really punch or kick without injuring your opponent. We introduce you to our way of point system fighting to show you how to make the sport fight more real and safer at the same time. At our tournaments you actually have to make contact to score a point but as the experience shows it’s not unsafe any longer. This way two major principles of training are equal: the safety (which is very important in modern sport) and the effectiveness (crucial in traditional budo).
