Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra - Erich Kunzel - Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture on Telarc LP

The copy of this LP that I showed in a previous video ( ) is even tougher, but under normal circumstances this is the toughest test ever for a phono cartridge. You must have a very well-setup turntable in order to play the overmodulated cannon shots from this version of the 1812 Overture, performed by the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Erich Kunzel and released in 1979. Now you can hear the complete work from a proper copy of the LP. According to the album’s included warning note... “THIS RECORD TESTS THE LIMITS OF PLAYBACK TECHNOLOGY ON THE FIRST PLAYING PROCEED WITH CAUTION UNTIL A SAFE PLAYBACK LEVEL CAN BE DETERMINED!“ Numark TTXUSB turntable - Nagaoka MP-500 phono cartridge - ART DJPRE II phono stage preamp - Vinyl record vinilo LP
