Ukraine’s Nova Kakhovka Dam Blown Up, Russian Colonel Killed In Belgorod, Militia Using US Weapons?

Ukraine’s military has blamed Russian forces after a major dam in southern Ukraine was blown up on June 6. Drone footage from the area shows water gushing out of the destroyed dam and into the Kakhovka reservoir. The torrent of water seen escaping from the dam in the video has the potential to cause major destruction around Kherson city. A Ukrainian official said that the water level in the Kakhovka reservoir will reach “critical level” in some time. Ukrainian officials have also said that the hydro power plant has been completely destroyed and can’t be repaired. Ukraine’s military intelligence claims that Andrey Stesev, a Russian colonel was killed in the Belgorod region on June 5. Anti-Russia militias fighting in Belgorod claim that they have some “small US weapons”.
