Rene Sousa is a 10th Planet brown belt under Zach Maslany and is a master of the tricky submission; the Buggy Choke. A former Division III collegiate wrestler, Sousa was one of the 16 contestants on FloGrappling’s reality TV show, Who’s Next. This interview was filmed in December 2022, I had the pleasure to sit down and interview Rene.
