Hana Karuta - 花かるた

Hana karuta (hana fuda) means “flower cards,“ traditional Japanese card game. The twelve types of cards symbolize seasons. A daughter waits for her father’s return for a year, wishing the four seasons pass quickly. Created by Honoka at San Francisco State University in 2016 as part of Campus MovieFest, the world’s largest student film festival.
