Monstera Reset!

If you’ve been following my plant journey you know this Monstera in a LECA Kratky pole went through a lot. It used to be thriving, full of healthy leaves on their way to fenestrated fabulosity. But things didn’t go well for this beauty. To put it simply, they took the brunt of a doggie’s bad day. They lost a lot of leaves and they were never the same again. It seems l am unlucky with my Monsteras. But just like the Monstera on a plank I shared yesterday, it is never too late to give them another chance. But before LECAfying, I propagated them first in a glass filled with fresh filtered water. I separated all the nodes with leaves and cut off their roots. When they start to push new roots, I will transfer them to LECA in a Kratky self-watering semi hydro setup. Hopefully this reset will give this Monstera a new possibility of thriving in a LECA Kratky life. VIVA!
