Drench! (Dolphin Show) - Six Flags Discovery Kingdom - June 29, 2023

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been to this park and of course I had to see the dolphin show! There used to be two dolphin shows but at the time of my visit there was only one, and the dolphins here were living in coed groups (they used to be separate). It was great to see how much Mattie and Apollo learned! Intro with Mattie, Liberty, Apollo, Merlin, Chelsea, and Jasmine - 1:00 Liberty is asked to vspin but he doesn’t do it, but does it when asked again - 1:22 Merlin’s front flip - 2:55 Jasmine, Chelsea, and Merlin double pec wave (thumbnail) 3:20 Splashing starting with the 6 but by the end of the segment, only Mattie, Liberty and Apollo are left 6:37 Volunteer segment with Apollo - 6:55 Apollo does a disco behavior - 8:00 Apollo fluke splashes the volunteer 8:40 Finale with Mattie, Apollo, and Liberty starting with Mattie’s backdives - 8:53 Liberty’s spin bows - 9:29 Mattie and Apollo double pec wave, it looked like Apollo was starting to hula but corrected himself - 9:50 Mattie throws and catches a basketball with her flippers - 10:35 Apollo slides out!
