Tarawangsawelas Ft. Rabih Beaini

Young tarawangsa duo Tarawangsawelas (Teguh Permana and Wisnu Ridwana) from Bandung are joining forces with Lebanese-born producer and electronic experimentalist Rabih Beaini (Morphine Records, Morphosis) for a series of shows across Europe as part of the Europalia International Arts Festival. Born of a Europalia artists’ residency, the trio are reinterpreting this ritual trance music for new contexts, the ghosts of digital delay subbing in for the spirits of the ancestors.
