It’s here! W-Dragon’s second fully licensed model from the Jurassic World franchise. This time, from the very first Jurassic World movie, with the very first hybrid monstrosity – the 1:35 Indominus Rex, from the very first Jurassic World Movie. Let’s start the week off epic shall we?
This dangerous predecessor to the Indoraptor combined the DNA of various carnivorous dinosaurs, including Velociraptor and Giganotosaurus, with the base genome of a T Rex, as well as modern animals like the cuttlefish and tree frog, creating a cocktail of unpredictable traits that made it even more dangerous than a T Rex.
I didn’t like the idea of a hybrid monster, but have since resigned myself to the reality of the Jurassic World franchise, and simply enjoy the movie monsters for what they are. So too, with this amazing W-Dragon statue, and there is much to enjoy here, in terms of detail and paint combinations.
