Alone: Helter Skelter Live in Hollywood

Alone was our fastest song, and I’m pretty sure it was the closer for every show we played in LA. Scott sang the hell out of it, Mike’s guitar solo was epic, Brian drummed like he was fighting a swarm of bees, and I whipped my 5 string bass around just trying to keep up! ;-) The footage for this video is a compilation of performances from every club we played in Hollywood - The Roxy Theatre, Whisky a Go-Go, Troubadour and Gazzarri’s. The audio is from our second cassette tape demo. I think we tracked and mixed it at Clear Lake Recording Studios in North Hollywood. Scott Terrell Anderson: Lead and Backing Vocals Michael Lawrence Leahy: Songwriter, Guitars, Backing Vocals Bobby Stevens: Bass Guitar and Backing Vocals Brian Joseph Judkins: Drum Kit Alone Helter Skelter Music and Lyrics: Michael Lawrence Leahy Copyright 1991 Before this endless daily grind makes me lose my mind Somehow we must find a way to leave it all behind ’Cause there’s no reason left to stay and waste another day When you and I know paradise is not that far away There’s no time to talk about it, put your trust in me Let’s run away together ’til we find someplace to be Alone (x3) Beyond this sea of neon light, we’ll escape tonight Nothing’s gonna stop us now, so baby hold on tight Don’t know where we’re goin’ to, or what we’re gonna do I don’t know, but I don’t care as long as I’m with you We can search the world together, certainly we will find Someplace where the two of us can spend some precious time Alone (x3) There’s no time to talk about it, put your trust in me Let’s run away together ’til we find someplace to be Alone (x3) Where we can be alone Alone (x3) ’Cause I need you (x3)
