Schynige Platte

The Schynige Platte-Bahn was built in 1893. Experience evocative moments on the ascent from Wilderswil to the Schynige Platte with its wonderful views. On the 7.3 km ride, the rack-and-pinion railway climbs 1420 m. Along the way, you can admire a natural idyll encompassing lakes Thun and Brienz and a panorama of mountains.
