They have proved that techno has no boundaries but has special tones depending on the country. “Aurora Introduces Latvia“ compilation has been released recently in May 2022, and a video for one of the tracks followed in a week: it was Ksenia Kamikaza’s -“When I Died“. Dmytro Gibshman, a Ukrainian fashion designer and videographer, has visualized his feelings after he has listened to the music. He says: “We thought about the collaboration with Ksenia in February, she had to come to Kyiv. Then the war started, and all plans seemed to be ruined. But you know, you are still alive. On my way to a bomb shelter I met Frosya, a girl from the video, and realized she is my neighbor, we became friends very fast. Pasha, a boy, just started his career as an actor, and I’m happy I was among the first who worked with him. So I said Ksenia - let’s go on, life has changed but we can make fantastic things together! She sent me the track to listen and I felt it so deeply. It has no vocals, but I can hear it singing. Ksenia fully trusted me, and I invited guys to my place and asked them to express their emotions by moving and dancing. You see the windows are covered with tapes - it’s done to protect the habitats in the case of an explosion. But there’s life and love behind these fears. Projects like this give us a feeling of being connected to the world, to normal life, give us feeling this life will come back to us soon.“Ksenia Kamikaza is a Latvian producer and promoter for almost a decade. She adds that working with Dmytro was very special not only because of the circumstances, but also because this person puts so much of his own emotions into the work. “You don’t feel like you have ordered a video, nothing personal, just business.
