Bahamian Thomas wins high jump gold

Relative newcomer Don Thomas won the high jump title clearing meters on his first attempt. Yaroslav Rybakov of Russia and Kyriakos Ioannou of Cyprus also cleared meters, but needed two tries to do so. (WCSN, )
