Jonas Dahlberg - Artist Talk

Lecture date: 2005-02-04 Jonas Dahlberg in conversation with Parveen Adams. Jonas Dahlberg showed at the 2003 Venice Biennale and represented Sweden at the Sao Paulo Biennale in 2004. Much of his film and video work deals with the disturbing continuities between what we see and how we understand the depiction of an object. His film, Invisible Cities, which takes its title from Italo Calvino’s novel, is an ongoing project concerned with the interactions between transparency and opacity and between the centre and the periphery.
