Lightning Induced Elve Event Over a Distant Thunderstorm

An Elve event is the largest Transient Luminous Event that we know of so far. Elves are much larger than Red Sprites and Gigantic Jets and they reach a height of approx 90 Km. This Elve event occurred on November 5, 2023 at 7:41 UTC facing south from Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico.
