Advanced Yoga Backbends: Raja Kapotasana with Kino

This deep backbend comes at the end of the Third Series of Ashtanga Yoga so it is meant to be a very advanced posture. Do not try this without building a proper foundation in the practice of yoga. Raja Kapotasana opens the hips, back and entire front body. Be conscious of extending the spine in a healthy manner to enter this posture. Be careful about not squeezing your head towards your feet.
