“A Wedding is Coming“, a traditional wedding song of the Mari Kuzhenger (Кужэҥер) region and a wedding chastushka of the Maris in Tatarstan, Kukmor region. The song itself is a medley of the Meadow Mari and Eastern Mari wedding songs. An old wedding melody from the village of Yyvansola, a melody from the Kuzhenerskiy region, played when the groom attempts to make the bride leave the house by making her walk around the table.
