Releasing Salmon at the Tynehead Hatchery

Living on the west coast puts us in touch with the Fraser River and many salmon runs. One of our nearby parks host the Tynehead Hatchery where they raise up a few varieties of salmon. This time of year they release salmon so we had to get it on it. Turns out it was a really cool ecology and information day. Neat little booths with varying stages of egg development and places for the kids to participate. Made a video. Check it out!
