Released: 1998 Platform: Windows Genocide is a run-and-gun platformer that has been built upon the source code of Abuse; it shares the exact gameplay with highly destructive environments where the player moves the character around with the arrow keys and aims the with the mouse. The game takes place in the prison colony of Thras 5 on the surface of the Metalyte mining planet during the 23rd century. The player takes the role of an ex-marine captain Shad, a biodroid who was convicted for murder. Thras is ruled by an evil corporation called The Regime, who plan to wipe out the entire solar system by torturous means. As nobody has ever escaped from Thras, Shad’s mission will not be easy.
