Sakuramochi is a japanese confection, consisting of sweet, pink-colored rice cake (mochi) with a red bean paste (anko) center and wrapped in a pickled cherry blossom (sakura) leaf.
The recipe for 6 sakura mochis, but they were so good that i ate 3 while filming haha.

Recipe:
-200g sweet rice/glutinous rice
-200ml water
-2 drops red food coloring
-1 1/2 tbsp sugar
-3tbsp anko/red bean paste
-6 pickled sakura leaves
1. At first rinse your rice 3 times and soak in water for 1 hour. Soak the sakura leaves for 15 min. in water. Dry them with a paper towel.
2. With wet hands form anko paste into 6 balls. Drain your rice and add 200ml water. Add the red food coloring and mix. Microwave for 4 min. at 800 watts and mix. Microwave again for 3 min. at 800 watts and mix again. Cover for 5 minutes. Add sugar and lightly mix.
