Michael Nyman - The Departure (“Gattaca“ Soundtrack)

Check out my Letterboxd profile and follow me if you’d like to: 🟠🟢🔵 “Gattaca“ is not one of the usual futuristic films in which there is little substance or bored the viewer .. we have a frightening Ethan Hawke (his best interpretation in my opinion) and an impeccable Jude Law. It is a very particular film for its themes, such as the creation of social classes only for a “scientific“ foundation, and it narrates this theme very well. The soundtrack: i think it’s the best of Michael Nyman, able to immerse yourself in this world from the first moment. “For someone who was never meant for this world, I must confess I’m suddenly having a hard time leaving it. Of course, they say every atom in our bodies was once part of a star. Maybe I’m not leaving... maybe I’m going home.“ 🎦 Film: Gattaca, 1997 (Andrew Niccol). 🎼 Song: The Departure (from “Gattaca“ Soundtrack, Michael Nyman). I do not own the rights of the movie or music. All rights belong to their respectful owners. Thanks for watching.
