Hundreds of torchbearers set a replica longship alight to celebrate the Up Helly Aa festival in Shetland’s capital.
Up Helly Aa began in Lerwick in the 1880s, celebrating the island’s Norse heritage.
More than 1,000 torches were lit during the two processions on Tuesday.
