Most people quit growing this type of palm tree because “It drops fruit all over my nice manicured lawn.“ Little do they know, the fruit is delicious and you can’t find this in the grocery stores. Also known as the Jelly Palm or Pindo Date. The scientific name is Butia Capitata.
