Marcos Mateu-Mestre Interview

Marcos Mateu has been in the animation industry for over 25 years! His credits include The Prince of Egypt, Penguins of Madagascar, How to Train your Dragon 2, Turbo, Puss in Boots and Surf’s Up! He never went to a traditional art school, but grew up in a family of artists! He received emotional inspiration from his Mother, and technical inspiration from his Father, who taught perspective. Marcos himself has also written numerous incredible books, such as Framed Perspective. Vol 1 and 2. He will share with you his first memory of meeting Steven Spielberg, and his recommendation of always being open to life, and to always listen!
