Coke—and Dozens of Others—Pledged to Quit Russia. They’re Still There
After Vladimir Putin’s troops surged over the Ukrainian border in February 2022, the Coca-Cola Co. was among the first companies to pledge it would leave Russia in protest. Two years later, the firm is still operating in the region alongside a host of other brands that promised to make an exit. Bloomberg’s Dasha Afanasieva explains why so many multinationals are finding it difficult to quit the market to Caroline Hepker and Stephen Carroll on Bloomberg radio.
