For ISRO’s PSLV-C56 mission, a Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) in the Core Alone configuration (PSLV-CA) launched the DS-SAR satellite and 6 co-passenger satellites, from the First Launch Pad (FLP) of the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC-SHAR), Sriharikota, India, on 30 July 2023, at 01:00 UTC (06:30 IST). DS-SAR (360 kg) is a Radar Imaging Earth Observation satellite, with a Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) payload. The six co-passenger small satellites are: VELOX-AM, ARCADE - Atmospheric Coupling and Dynamics Explorer, SCOOB-II, NuLIoN, Galassia-2, ORB-12 STRIDER.
