Meshuggah’s “Clockworks“ on Trumpet

When Meshuggah released The Violent Sleep of Reason in 2016, the opening track alone absolutely knocked me out. Instant classic! I pay “Clockworks“ some trumpet love this week to show my appreciation for its ability to simultaneously obliterate yet heighten the senses.
