This is an informational video for a prototype UAV ground station that was shown at the Army Aviation Association of America show in Nashville in 2011. It is a concept that I came up with and developed while working at Specialty Systems, in support of the US Army CERDEC Flight Activity. The system integrates a MaxFlight full motion simulator with a remote vehicle control system in order to provide physical feedback to the pilot of the UAV’s orientation.
