Pika Calling Out to its Friend - Pika Sounds

Hear the American Pika calling out to a nearby Pika friend! I found these pikas on the Skyline Trail at Mount Rainier National Park, Washington. Its calls could be alerting Pika to nearby hikers or the Swainson’s Hawk that was making noises nearby. This was shot on my Canon R6 camera with RF 600mm F11 lens.
