Quickie: Reset Buttons for the Pi Pico (and a Stencil)
This is a quickie: We add a reset button to the Pi Pico.
In my last video, I complained about the lack of a reset button. I got a few proposals to solve the problem:
- We can purchase this button from Pimironi. It connects the “run” pin to ground. Which is all we need to reset the RP2040 chip
- We can add a USB cable with an off switch. Just pay attention that you do get a cable with data lines included…
- The third proposal was to use a standard switch on a breadboard to ground the “RUN” pin—also a working solution
- My compact and cheap solution
