Jordanian ambassador to the UN compares the death toll of Ukrainian children & Palestinian children

“How many children were killed in the Ukraine war in 20 months? Six hundred. How many Palestinian children killed in less than four weeks? 3700.” Mahmoud Daif Allah al-Hamoud, the Jordanian delegate to the United Nations, drew parallels between the loss of children’s lives in Ukraine, which drew international condemnation, and the comparatively higher number of Palestinian children killed by Israeli military attacks on Gaza, which received less attention.
