Bear Caged For 20 Years Steps Outside For First Time 🥰

Moon bear Primrose was caged as a cub after likely being stolen from her mother in the wild and watched her being killed as she fought to protect her from poachers. She was put in a cage and for the next 20 years suffered repeated bile extraction, the bile was sold for traditional medicine. Animals Asia rescued Primrose earlier this year along with two other bears after persuading their owner to hand them over to our care. 🐻 Watch Primrose being freed: 🐻 After a few weeks in quarantine and building up her physical and mental strength, Primrose stepped outside in her semi-wild enclosure at our Bach Ma sanctuary in Vietnam. Watch as our brave, beautiful bear sees the vast sky and mountains in front of her for the first time in 20 years. Subscribe to Animals Asia for more amazing rescued bear clips: ~ Animals Asia is working with the Vietnam government to end bear bile farming in Vietnam and will rescue the last few hundred bears who still remain on bile farms by 2026 to our sanctuary: . #nobearleftbehind #endbearbilefarming #animalasia
