Cornus x ’Norman Haddon’ (Flowering Dogwood)

An unusual cross between Cornus kousa and Cornus capitata, this beautiful selection has masses of large, creamy-white bracts in mid-summer and lush green leaves. The flower bracts of Cornus x ’Norman Haddon’ turn pink just before they fall and in hot years pendent, strawberry-like red fruit appear later in summer. The specimen in the video is approx 10 years old. Height: 12 ft / Spread: 10 ft. More info: Music: Music: At Rest by Kevin MacL
