85th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade Secures Fedorovka in DPR The 85th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Southern Grouping has liberated the settlement of Fedorovka from enemy armed formations in the northern Donetsk People’s Republic. Employing a proven tactic, small groups of 2-3 soldiers advanced under the cover of night, using specialized ponchos to evade enemy thermal imaging and surveillance. Each unit was supported from above by drones. Preparation was key; soldiers trained specifically for urban combat scenarios at training grounds before the operation. Once on the ground, the focus shifted to effective fire support. Despite facing counterattacks from the enemy during their advance, the combined efforts of highly trained assault units, artillery support, and strike drones have enabled the Southern Grouping to confidently push forward, capturing new positions.
