🌀 165 km/h Hurricane Rick hits Mexico 🇲🇽 October 25 2021 Huracán Rick Guerrero

Hurricane Rick hits the west coast of Mexico high high winds on October 25th 2021. The Category 1 hurricane made landfall on the Pacific Coast with wind speeds of 160 km/h. Residents in affected areas were warned not to leave their homes. Heavy rain caused flooding, with homes being destroyed by landslides. The area of Guerrero was particularly affected. The high winds uprooted trees, causing further damage to properties. Government shelters have been put in place to help affected citizens. Blackouts were reported as electricity wires were torn down, and cars were stranded in floodwaters in Acapulco. The storm is expected to continue over Mexico with a reduced wind speed, however further warnings are in place.
